Location & Hours

Once you are in the airplane and have reached the necessary altitude watch the others jump out of the plane. This is often quite motivating as well and many people overcome their fears at this moment.

Skydiving Stories: Get inspired by real-life experiences fr om skydivers around the world!

You should get signed permission fr om a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.

Although it’s known as Earth’s sister planet, the surface conditions there are quite treacherous. Mars is full of deserts, it is extremely cold, and has very little atmosphere or gravity. The most serious immediate impact would be from the low atmospheric pressure, which is nearly a vacuum compared to Earth. The surface pressure is well below the Armstrong lim it for the unprotected human body. The Armstrong lim it, often called Armstrong’s line, is the minimum altitude beyond which the boiling point of water becomes so low, that it is almost equal to the normal temperature of the human body. Essentially, all your bodily fluids, such as mucus, saliva, and sweat would get evaporated, leaving you completely dried out. It sounds quite “petrifying”. Therefore, without any protective gear, you would only get about 2 minutes to explore the planet. Also Read: Why Is Mars Called The “Dead Planet?”

Student Training – In this section, we cover the costs associated with various skydiving training programs and the overall costs associated with gaining your skydiving A-License.

Taking off the gear is much easier than putting it on and will likely take less than 5 minutes! You can slip out of the harness without worrying about how it’s folded or wrapped. This won’t take nearly as long.

The most common “skydiving experience” is a tandem jump. These are relatively quick, and don’t need much training. You’ll typically get a slot ‘booked in’ on the day. After you turn up, there’ll be a little admin time (filling in forms), a quick training brief, and then some sitting around – waiting on the plane.

You’ll then board the plane. The plane ride itself can take around 20 minutes to reach the correct altitude and drop zone. Before the doors open and you take your jump, the instructor will do one last check of your gear, and you’re ready to go!
